On November 26, 2010, the first Sogang-Tsinghua Symposium on the Humanities jointly sponsored by the Chinese Departments of Sogang University, ROK, and Tsinghua University was held at Tsinghua. The theme of the Symposium is "Humanistic Education in the Era of Internationalization." More than ten professors from the departments of Chinese, English, History, Philosophy, and so on of the two universities attended the Symposium. The two Chinese departments have cooperated closely with each other for more than 10 years. Every year the Chinese Department of Tsinghua will send its teachers to teach at Sogang, while accepting a number of exchange students from Sogang.
