The Second Advanced Workshop Successfully Hosted by Center for Japanese Studies at Tsinghua

The second Advanced Workshop of the Center for Japanese Studies at Tsinghua held from November 12-14, 2010, in Xinzhai, was a success. Akira Iriye, Charles Warren Research Professor of American History, Emeritus, at the Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies at Harvard University, was invited to be the main instructor, and more than 40 people attended the workshop, including professors, lecturers and Ph.D. students from Tsinghua University, China Academy of Social Sciences, China Foreign Affairs University, Peking University, People’s University of China, Beijing International Studies University, Qingdao University, Cambridge University, Tianjin Academy of Social Sciences, University of International Business and Economics, and so on.
