On December 5, a poetry reading in memory of the Greek poet Constantine Cavafy was held in Tsinghua University History Museum. The Greek ambassador to China, Mr. Vassilios Costis, the press and cultural affairs officer of the Embassy, Ms. Eleni Moutsaki, who gave a talk to introduce Cavafy and his poems before the reading, participated in the event. Among the audience were more than one hundred teachers and students from Tsinghua University and other institutions. The event was hosted by Professor Yu Shiyi from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
