On June 27, Russel A. Berman, former president of MLA and the editor-in-chief of TELOS, currently Walter A. Haas Professor in the Humanities, Professor of Comparative Literature and Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford, delivered a lecture titled “Do It as a Job? – Liberal Education in the US and Its Crises” in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. The lecture was hosted by Professor Wang Ning from the Department.
