An international project “The Logical Dynamics of Information Exchange in Social Networks,” initiated by Professor Liu Fenrong from the Department of Philosophy in Tsinghua University and Professor Alexandru Baltag from the University of Amsterdam, was approved by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in January 2014. This very project will take off with Tsinghua University-the University of Amsterdam Joint Research Center for Logic as the platform to seek international cooperation in the coming three years. The project team of thirteen scholars from the two universities will conduct researches on logic in the dynamical information exchange in social networks.
